The day after I returned from the Super Bowl, I performed at a Black History Celebration Presented and sponsored by KQED and Union Bank, in collaboration with Afro Solo, honoring individuals whose work has helped to create a better Bay Area for all. I accompanied the always brilliant Robert Sims (my classmate at Oberlin! Go Obies!) in performance of African-American Spirituals.
The program will be broadcast on KQED, Channel 9 in the San Francisco Bay Area, on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 7pm, Monday, February 18 at 1am, and Saturday, February 23 at 6pm.
